About: The Penn State Mont Alto is a commonwealth campus of Pennslyvania State University. It is located in Mont Alto in south central Pennslyvania between Chambersburg and Gettysburg. It incorporates the Pennsylvania State Forest Academy. It was founded in 1903 by Governor Samuel W. Pennypacker.
